Harris Farm has long been famous for our sweet corn, which we have been marketing since the early '50s. We plant over 20 varieties of Sugar Enhanced and Super Sweet to ensure a constant supply from late July through early October. Our corn is hand-picked from sunrise to sunset. You won't find fresher, sweeter corn anywhere.
Tomatoes have become another Harris Farm specialty, available mid-July through mid-October. Other crops include cucumbers, squash, peppers, beets, potatoes, carrots, and melons. All of our crops are handpicked and managed by Harris Farm, to ensure freshness and quality.
Maple Syrup
Each Spring the sap starts running at Harris Farm. When the temperature drops below freezing at night, the sap rests in the roots of the maple trees. When the daytime temperature rises, the sap travels to the branches and buds just below the surface of the bark. The trees are tapped by drilling a small hole through the bark and inserting a spigot. The sap flows through the spigot dripping into collection bags and buckets. It takes 40 gallons of syrup to make one gallon of maple syrup. Our syrup is available in 1/2 pint, pint, quart and half gallon containers (while supplies last).
