Every year during the fourth weekend of March, we open our doors for Maine Maple Weekend. Tour the maple syrup operation and sample our syrup straight from the boiler. Afterwards, enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in our huge sun-room. The breakfast features our own homemade pancakes, sausage, syrup, butter, and glass-bottled milk. The barn is also open to visitors during this weekend, so bring the kids, ask questions and get out of the house for the morning!
Harris Farm participates in Open Farm Day with "Lunch on the Land". This includes a buffet style picnic lunch featuring Harris Farm corn, hamburgers, veggie platters, homemade pies and our own glass bottled milk. Pumpkin Picking During the first Sunday in October, Harris Farm gives tractor-drawn hay-ride to our four acres of pumpkins. Choose from small pie pumpkins and gourds to huge jack-o'-lantern pumpkins. Pick as many as you like! Our Farm Store also offers fall decorations such as corn stalks, Indian corn, and Hardy Mums. Hay-rides run continuously from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
